Benzoyl Peroxide For Acne

I'm 16 and I've been using the benzoyl peroxide 10% each night (after the removal facial wash with gentle Neutrogena) for just over a week now. Following the change of use of salicylic acid sporradic BP, initially responded well and quickly, and even had a day without acne … Now, however, it 's just a bit better than he was before the start of treatment. The problem, however, is that my skin (especially my chin and cheeks) is horribly dry and flaky constantly now, even though I apply a light moisturizer for at least five times per day. Cuaesquiera explanations as to how BP works or suggestions on what to do for this condition … Should I stop or continue with BP? I have mild to moderate acne and love to be at least partially clear and not flaky at the time when school starts in a week.
